The story
Elita One challenges Optimus for leadership of the Autobots over his refusal to abandon Earth, and the two duel over Trailbreaker's body. Optimus ends it by voluntarily surrendering the Matrix of Leadership; Elita becomes Elita Prime and takes most of the Autobots to Cybertron.
Why this issue matters
Optimus Prime gives up the Matrix. Elita One becomes Elita Prime and the Autobots split into two separate wars. Dan Mora's last issue as interior artist.
