The Hot Wheels x Transformers Collaborative is reaching brick-and-mortar shelves. TFW2005 reports that the assortment’s two new figures, El Segundo Coupe and GT-Scorcher, were found on the pegs at a US GameStop over the weekend, a fresh retail sighting for the pair after their May preorder window.
Both figures are original molds created for this Hasbro and Mattel team-up rather than redecos of existing Transformers toys. El Segundo Coupe is the blue racer, styled after a Hot Wheels sports coupe and marked with the number 68, a nod to the year Mattel launched the Hot Wheels brand in 1968. GT-Scorcher is the red and white entry, built on a GT-style body. Each is a roughly 5-inch figure that converts from robot mode to a Hot Wheels-inspired car mode, with poseable joints and attachable accessories, and each ships on a Hot Wheels-branded Transformers blister card.
Hasbro first opened preorders for the assortment on May 12, 2026 through Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers, listing an approximate retail price of $34.99 and a general Summer 2026 availability window. The wave’s third piece, a Target-exclusive Twin Mill in a red deco, reached shelves earlier and was spotted at US retail in early June.
The release continues the crossover approach of Hasbro’s Transformers Collaborative program, which recently produced the Scooby-Doo Mysterious Prime and Automutt two-pack. Collectors after the Hot Wheels pair should start checking mass and specialty retailers now that stock is circulating.
