Hasbro has dropped a reissue with no run up at all. The Power of the Primes Throne of the Primes set, sold as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive in 2018 and never given a general release since, went up at fan channel retailers on August 11 as a wide release. TFW2005 flagged it the same afternoon.

BigBadToyStore has the set listed at $99.99, marked PRE-ORDER, with an arrival estimated for September 2026. Those are the retailer’s own numbers, read off the listing today, not a figure taken from a report.

What is in the box has not changed from the convention version. Optimus Primal is a 5.5 inch figure that converts with the Evolution Armor into a 9 inch Optimal Optimus. Four Prime Master figures are included, Nexus Prime, Amalgamous Prime, Prima Prime and the Thirteenth Prime, along with a Scepter of Sparks that holds all four. The throne packaging carries the Halo of Primus and has storage for twelve Prime Masters in total, with the other eight sold separately.

The original was Hasbro’s pay off for the Prime Wars trilogy and for the fan vote that made Optimus Primal the chosen Prime, so it has always been the piece of that line most likely to be missing from a shelf. A convention exclusive going wide at standard retail is why this lands differently from a normal restock.

Beast Wars has had a busy few weeks either way. Hasbro Pulse opened preorders on the Beast Wars 30th anniversary Maximal Collection at $219.99 in late July, and Takara Tomy opened Japanese preorders on MPG-26 Decepticon Rhinox on August 5.
