Star Saber has always had a storage problem. The character is a big robot with a small robot living in his chest. Every toy that honours that has made you choose. Build the big one and the little one is gone; stand the little one up and leave a hole where his torso should be. Takara Tomy’s answer, on a figure it has now named, priced and dated, is to put a second Saber in the box that does not transform.
Adamas Machina AM-T03 Star Saber is up for pre-order in Japan at 49,500 Yen, around $312, and Takara’s own product page has it arriving late in June 2027.12 It stands about 24 cm in robot mode.3 The line is T-Spark’s die-cast range. No Star Saber has appeared in it before.
The cartridge is the clever part
The contents list runs to a Star Saber body, a Saber body, and then a third thing: a Saber Cartridge, described by Takara’s distributor copy as a non-transforming dummy core. Its only job is to stand in for Saber inside Star Saber’s chest, so that both robots can be displayed at once.4

Saber stows in the chest, comes out, and transforms on his own into both a robot and a jet.4 The large figure transforms too, in full, from a jet Takara calls the V Star.

What else is in the box
Takara itemises the rest. The Saber Blade and a holder for it, Great Swords with covers, a V Cosmo Shield, Saber Guns, weapon arms for the arms and the waist, an adapter for the TF Power Base, and a pair of instruction manuals.4 The grip pulls out of each cover, so a sheath becomes a blaster in the hand!

Takara bills the figure as a high-end completed alloy model with what it calls functionally distributed die-cast, and it carries a 15 and over age rating.1 There is an official promotional video on the product page.
Victory Leo is a single photograph so far
On 4 November the T-Spark account posted a first look at an Adamas Machina Victory Leo, in robot mode only. There is no product code, no price and no date. TFW2005 adds that it expects Leo to combine with Star Saber into Victory Saber. The prediction is the outlet’s own, and Takara has said nothing about it.5 The combination is not worth planning around yet.
What you can buy today
There is no AM-T03 at BigBadToyStore. The absence is real rather than a failed read, because a search for the line returns five other Adamas Machina products. What is there, read this afternoon, is AMT-02 Predaking at $444.99, in stock, and AM-T02EX Magna Regulus at $399.99 on pre-order.6 Neither is Star Saber, but both sit in the same die-cast range at the same tier. We covered Takara’s Hobby Show wave in October and its October pre-order drop, and neither carried anything from this line.

Footnotes
-
Takara writes the code AM-T03 and gives the release as late June 2027. TFW2005 writes it AMT-03 and gives 26 June 2027, a date that comes from the retail listing it relays rather than from Takara’s page. Both spellings are in use across the line, and BigBadToyStore uses each of them on different products, so either will find this figure in a search. ↩ ↩2
-
Two prices are in circulation and they are not a conflict. taghobby carries 45,000 Yen and TFW2005 carries 49,500 Yen. The gap between them is Japan’s 10 per cent consumption tax, and a Japanese toy is routinely quoted both ways. Neither outlet labels its figure, so the tax reading is inference rather than something either of them states. ↩
-
The 24 cm figure is TFW2005’s. Takara’s product page does not state a height. ↩
-
The contents list, the Saber Cartridge wording and the V Star transformation are taghobby’s reproduction of Takara’s own Japanese product copy, read 5 November 2026. Takara’s own page names the same parts but lists the cartridge among optional parts without saying plainly that it ships in the box; taghobby’s contents list gives it a quantity of one. ↩ ↩2 ↩3
-
TFW2005’s words are that it predicts the combination. Takara has shown one image, in robot mode, and said nothing about Victory Saber. ↩

Predaking is a tiered listing and $444.99 is the base tier; a substandard-packaging tier sits below it at $440.99 and is not the product price. ↩
