The story

Nightbeat, Siren and Hosehead search the underworld planet Pz-Zazz for the lost Matrix and end up chasing a stolen statue through rival gangs. Nightbeat works out the statue is the planet's life-source, and Thunderwing's Decepticons capture the trio.
