The story
Unicron tears into Cybertron and Autobots and Decepticons die by the dozen, Scorponok among them, until Optimus seizes the purged Matrix and throws himself into Unicron's mouth. The blast destroys both gods and Optimus with them.
Why this issue matters
The double-sized climax of the entire run: Unicron's defeat, the second death of Optimus Prime, and the payoff to the Primus mythology begun in issue 61.
