The story

The M.A.R.S. team grafts Starscream's torso onto a H.I.S.S. tank with explosives inside him; he grudgingly cooperates, recruits Astrotrain and rescues the Combaticons. Once tricked into having the explosives removed he kills most of his captors and vows revenge on Soundwave.

Why this issue matters

Concludes the two-part Starscream origin. Deaths of M.A.R.S. personnel Horton, Razz and Clayton.
