The story

Thundercracker attacks the Autobots inside the returned Ark to free Skywarp from his merger with Teletraan 1; Optimus talks him down and the new Energon supply restores Skywarp, who immediately turns on them. Miles Mayhem studies a scan of Optimus transforming and murders the technician who took it.

Why this issue matters

Thundercracker breaks with the Decepticons for the Autobot side. Kup revealed to have survived. Closes on Megatron collapsing in unexplained agony.
