Years after the Chicago battle, a paranoid government hunts all Transformers while a tech magnate reverse-engineers them. Cade revives a battered Optimus Prime, and the chase runs from Texas to Hong Kong with the legendary Grimlock in tow.

Set up as the first of a new trilogy, the film introduced toy-friendly designs and leaned into the Chinese box office.
