Hasbro has opened orders for the next entry in its Transformers Timelines line: a samurai-themed Megatron and Bumblebee two-pack. The set went up on Hasbro Pulse as a Pulse exclusive on July 14, 2026, listed in stock at $67.99, and it continues the Feudal Japan style Age of Samurai subline that reimagines classic characters as warriors of an alternate era.

Per the official Hasbro Pulse listing, Megatron is a 5.5-inch Deluxe Class figure whose bot mode draws on classic samurai armor and Japanese oni imagery, and he converts into a boar cast as a symbol of the forces of destruction. Bumblebee is a 4.75-inch Deluxe Class figure that leans on ninja and samurai design cues and converts into a giant flying squirrel meant to stand for courage and determination. The pack ships with three accessories shared across the two robots: a kunai blade, a katana, and an arm cannon that doubles as a kanabo club.
Reveal coverage from TFW2005 and TFormers adds that Megatron converts in 24 steps and Bumblebee in 18, and that the two were first shown at New York Comic Con 2025. They are built to pair with the previously released Age of Samurai Optimus Prime and Starscream, extending a small samurai-themed sub-collection within Timelines rather than launching a standalone assortment.
Timelines is Hasbro’s outlet for one-off “what if” takes that sit outside the main Generations continuity, and this set keeps that remit: no new fiction, just a self-contained rivalry restaged in feudal Japan. Collectors who want the full samurai quartet on the shelf will need this two-pack to complete it. As a Hasbro Pulse exclusive listed in stock, the pair are available now rather than on a future preorder window.
