Hook and loop is the whole point of a morale patch. The panel is sewn down for good and the badge on it is not, so what rides on the front of a pack this week does not have to be there next week. WOLFpak’s licensed Transformers range sells the patches on their own as well as on the bags, and the cheapest thing in it costs $12.95.

WOLFpak sells tactical gym bags, the sort with MOLLE webbing down the front and a pocket on each flank sized for a protein shaker. Twenty six Transformers products went up on its own store, the bags and the patches on 14 September and the bundles two days after that, and TFW2005 wrote the collaboration up on 18 September. Every product page carries the same line at the bottom, TM and copyright 2026 Hasbro, and every one of them is tagged Royalties-Hasbro in the store’s own product data. This one is licensed.

The bags split two Autobots to one Decepticon. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron each get a 35L backpack at $189.95, a 15L tactical backpack at $169.95 and a 9L tactical sling at $129.95. Outdoor-brand money buys an outdoor-brand spec sheet; the 35L lists waterproof Oxford 900D and 1000D polyester, YKK two way zippers, a padded sleeve for a 16 inch laptop, a trolley sleeve for sliding the pack over a suitcase handle, and a strap rating WOLFpak gives as 35 lbs a side. Optimus is red with grey webbing and blue trim, and the sling that pairs with him swaps two of those round: navy body, red face panel, the same grey webbing.

The badge comes off

Every bag ships with its patches removable, and WOLFpak sells the patches on their own at $12.95 each: Optimus Prime as a truck and again in robot mode, Bumblebee the same two ways, Megatron the same two ways, Starscream as a jet, and the Autobot and Decepticon crests. They are 3D formed PVC with a silkscreen print over the top and hook and loop on the back, and most of them run three and a half by four inches [1].

So the cheapest way in is $12.95. If what we want is the Decepticon shield on a pack we already own, or Starscream on a jacket, none of the bags are required. Starscream gets a patch and no bag at all. He is the one character here who exists only as $12.95 of PVC!

There are two patch bundles, Autobots at $64.75 for five and Decepticons at $51.80 for four, but neither one saves anybody a penny. Both work out at $12.95 a patch, and the three bag bundles behave the same way, $319.90 for a 35L and a sling of the same character against $189.95 and $129.95 bought one at a time [2]. Nothing comes off.

The shirts

The two graphic tees are $39.95 in heavyweight combed cotton, cut loose and oversized. The Decepticons one is the bolder print, but the Autobots shirt is the better piece of design. G1 Optimus stands the full height of the front in cartoon colours, with red katakana across the top above the word AUTOBOTS. Three stacked panels run down beside his leg: Hot Rod, then Arcee, then Bumblebee, captioned EVERY HERO HAS A BEGINNING and MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE. The TRANSFORMERS x WOLFPAK lockup sits underneath in a grey barely darker than the shirt, which takes some nerve on a collaboration piece.

What you can actually buy today

Read on 18 September, every bag, every patch and every bundle in the collection is in stock and orderable on WOLFpak’s own store, where the 35L packs are $189.95, the 15L $169.95, the 9L slings $129.95 and the patches $12.95. The shirts are the only gaps: the Decepticons tee is out in L and 2XL and the Autobots tee is out in 2XL, with the other sizes live in both. A Transformers mystery patch is also listed at zero dollars while supplies last, as a free gift rather than a tenth design.

Nobody else is carrying it. A live search of BigBadToyStore on 18 September returns no WOLFpak products at all, Transformers or otherwise, so WOLFpak’s own store is the one we can point at.

This is the second licensed Transformers drop this week to live on the maker’s own site, after The Noble Collection put the Matrix of Leadership on a bracelet yesterday, and both of them landed while The Transformers: The Movie was back in cinemas. The bracelet has no $12.95 version of itself. This one does, and it comes off the bag.

[1] Six of the nine do. The store is more precise than the round number suggests: the Optimus Prime truck patch is approximately 2.875 by 4 inches, the Megatron action patch 2.875 by 4.25, and the Optimus Prime action patch 3.25 by 4.25. The Bumblebee car patch, the Bumblebee action patch, the plain Megatron patch, the Starscream jet patch and both crests are the 3.5 by 4 ones.

[2] The jumbo patch on the front of each 35L is not a Decepticon sigil, whatever it looks like at thumbnail size. It is the split face Hasbro uses as the brand mark, Autobot on the left and Decepticon on the right, set between the two lines of the wordmark.
