Hasbro held its press preview on Wednesday evening, the night before the Javits Center floor opened, and seven Transformers figures were shown with Hasbro’s own product copy attached to each one. [1] That copy carries the class, the height and the vehicle or creature on the other side of the conversion. It also counts out the steps the conversion takes and lists what is in the box. After a year of listing threads arguing about what the 2027 Generations line would be called, it is the first version of any of it that someone at Hasbro has to stand behind.

Age of the Primes takes the larger share, and Hasbro’s copy dates every one of those figures to spring 2027.

Hasbro’s official copy and images for the four went up the same night. Voyager Class Guzzle is the tank, and Hasbro describes him as “a battle-hardened warrior with no patience for subtlety.” He stands 6.5 inches, and the box holds a double cannon and a blaster, both of which attach in either mode. Voyager Class Cybershark is a Maximal who tracks and fights underwater, and he comes with two fin accessories and a double missile blaster. He is the 7-inch one, and the shark is what he turns into.

The two Leader Class figures are Onyx Prime and Starscream, and Hasbro’s copy on each one is about what the character does to the story rather than who he is. The Thirteen Onyx Prime The Deceiver converts from robot to creature, and then from creature to centaur. Every weapon in the box attaches in all of those modes. Hasbro’s copy on him gives away a turn in the story: “Shockwave eliminates Onyx Prime and assumes his identity, steering the course of history to meet his own larger purposes.” Leader Class Starscream is the Machine Wars version, in black and grey with the shark-finned wings, and Hasbro has not changed its line on him since 1984: “Starscream’s ambition has always run a step ahead of his loyalty, making the Decepticon second-in-command unreliable at best.”

The rest are Studio Series, taken from the first live action film and dated to early 2027. Deluxe Class Autobot Jazz comes with a Crescent Cannon and converts into a Pontiac Solstice, at 4.7 inches. Voyager Class Autobot Ironhide brings the GMC Topkick back, with two weapons that attach in either mode. Voyager Class Autobot Ratchet is the Hummer H2, and Hasbro gave him the buzzsaw as well as the blaster. The buzzsaw is what sells him!

There is nothing to order

Hasbro showed seven figures and opened pre-orders on none of them. ToyHypeUSA, which had a reporter in the room, lists Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore and Amazon as the places pre-orders are “coming soon.” [2] No prices were given for any of the seven. No dates beyond a season.

None of that is unusual for a Hasbro convention reveal, but a reveal with official photography attached looks like a thing you can act on tonight, and this one is not. What you can do today is read the copy and decide which of the spring figures you want. Hasbro gave them all the same window, so they will very likely go up together.

What else was in the room

Tformers covered the preview live from the floor and came away with a longer list than the seven that got official copy, including the SKU numbers Hasbro had printed on the display cards. [3] On the Studio Series side that list adds a Titan Class Scorn from Age of Extinction, a Leader Class Megatron from The Last Knight and a Voyager Shredhead. The Deluxe Class entries on it are G1 Red Alert, Wheelie and Allicon from the 1986 film, Shockwave from Transformers One and Nautica from the IDW comics. On the Age of the Primes side it adds a combiner, Nexus Maximus, built from four Deluxe Class figures: Alpha Bravo, Skyguard, Breakaway and the G2 Wild Rider.

Treat that second list as a reporter’s notes rather than as Hasbro’s word. The seven above have product copy behind them; the rest were cards on a table, and Hasbro has published nothing on them yet.

One thing the copy does settle. The listing threads have spent months insisting the 2027 Generations line gets a new name, and the headline on The Allspark’s own thread this week is still arguing it. Hasbro’s product copy for all four spring 2027 figures says Age of the Primes, in capitals, at the top of the page. The threads may yet be right about what comes after, but the change does not happen in spring.

Where to start if you want The Thirteen on a shelf now

Hasbro has published nothing on Nexus Maximus, so there is no date on it and no price. Nexus Prime, the member of The Thirteen the combiner is named for, already exists as a Voyager Class figure, and BigBadToyStore has him in stock this morning at $42.99 with the add to cart control live.

Our running coverage of the show is on the NYCC 2026 guide, and the schedule story explaining why Hasbro’s only Transformers panel is Thursday night still stands: the panel itself has not happened yet. The current Age of the Primes shelf is the one we covered when Herald of Unicron came into stock.

[1] The same copy appears word for word on every outlet that attended, so it came out of the press kit rather than off a reporter’s notebook.

[2] ToyHypeUSA also reported that over 100 of Hasbro’s official images went up on Facebook at 9:42 PM ET on October 7.

[3] Tformers lists the Studio Series Titan Class Scorn as spring 2027 and a Titan Class Grimlock as fall 2027. The Grimlock entry on that card carries an August 2026 date, which cannot be right for something revealed this week, so we have left it out rather than repeat it.
