The story

On war-ruined Cybertron, Autobot spy Scrounge is captured in Darkmount and thrown into the smelting pool by Lord High Governor Straxus. Blaster lets himself be captured to reach him, and Scrounge dies passing on the message that Optimus Prime lives on Earth.

Opens the Cybertron half of the Marvel continuity, introduces Straxus, Darkmount and Blaster, and sets the run's grimmest tone.
