Hasbro’s Fans Expo returns to Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) 2026, running July 24 to 28 at booth C11 in Hall 1 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The headline items are two convention exclusives: hand-painted battle damage editions of the Studio Series 86 Leader Class Grimlock and Megatron, offered as gifts with purchase rather than open stock.

To qualify, attendees must buy HK$4,500 or more of Hasbro product at the event, roughly 575 US dollars. Each figure is limited to 40 units in individually numbered boxes, and Hasbro’s promotional materials cap redemption at eight sets per day for each figure across the five show days. Both exclusives carry branding for the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie.

Both are redecos of current retail Studio Series 86 Leader Class molds with a weathered, battle-worn paint treatment. The Grimlock uses the Leader Class release that packs in Autobot Wheelie, and the promo shots show Wheelie riding the battle-damaged Dinobot’s tyrannosaurus mode. The Megatron is the Leader Class version of the Decepticon leader as he appears in the 1986 animated film, shown in both robot mode and its fusion cannon tank mode.

Hasbro’s promo materials also list Transformers commemorative coins at HK$800, G1 trading cards at HK$600, and a Beast Wars A4 folder at HK$400. The booth will additionally carry two of Hasbro Pulse’s San Diego Comic-Con 2026 items, the Optimus Prime and Autobot Jazz Cereal Box Set and the Jem and the Holograms crossover Autobot Blaster, giving Hong Kong attendees same-week access to the SDCC stock.

For Studio Series collectors this continues an established pattern: at the 2025 show, Hasbro’s Hong Kong Fan Expo offered a battle damage Commander Class G1 Optimus Prime as a similar event exclusive. Like that release, neither figure has any announced Western retail availability, so the aftermarket is the only likely route for collectors outside Hong Kong.
