Hasbro’s annual press breakfast at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 gave Transformers collectors their first official look at Icons Megatron, a figure that converts between a robot action figure and the Decepticons faction symbol. The company released official images and product details on July 23.

The Icons Megatron follows the Icons Optimus Prime Autobots Symbol that launched the sub-line, applying the same display concept to the Decepticon leader. Per Hasbro’s product copy, the figure stands 6.75 inches in robot mode and transforms into the Decepticons faction symbol in 27 steps. It comes with a display stand for the logo mode and a blaster accessory for robot mode. The box is marked for ages 8 and up.

Hasbro lists the figure for a Fall 2026 release with the retail price to be announced. It was one of several Transformers reveals from the SDCC breakfast, a slate that also included Age of the Primes Nexus Maximus combiner limbs, a Beast Wars Maximals boxed set, and a Studio Series Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime color prototype.

Update, September 2, 2026. The two blanks in this post are filled in. Icons Megatron went up for pre-order on September 1 at $46.99, and the ship estimate is December 2026 rather than the Fall 2026 window Hasbro gave at Comic-Con. Full detail and the buy path in our pre-order piece.
