Hasbro Pulse has a countdown running on the Transformers Studio Series Generation 1 Seeker Storm Pack, and when it reaches zero the set simply stops being orderable. At 8:12 AM ET this morning it read fifteen hours and forty seven minutes, which puts the close at the very end of today. The page says it in its own words as well: “Pre-order by 8/24.”

TFW2005, which posted the twenty four hour reminder that surfaced this, calls it the Transformers franchise’s first made-to-order item. That framing matters more than the countdown does, because made to order is not the same thing as a preorder against stock Hasbro has already committed to building. Hasbro counts the orders that land inside the window, then builds to that number. Nothing is sitting in a warehouse waiting.

What is actually in the box

Four Voyager Class figures: Seeker Ion Storm, Acid Storm, Nova Storm and Sunstorm. Hasbro’s product copy puts them at 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) scale, converting between robot and jet modes in twenty seven steps, with eight null ray accessories spread across the set. The Studio Series Generation 1 branding is the cartoon deco rather than the toy deco, and all four are repaints of the Seeker airframe that Starscream made famous.

The price, the dates, and the one line that will catch people out

It is $149.99 for the four, SKU G44225L00, badged New and Exclusive on the Pulse listing.

The ship line is the sentence worth reading twice. Hasbro’s own wording: “This pre-order item will be available to ship on approximately October 1, 2027.” That is 2027, not 2026, and it is roughly thirteen months after the window closes tonight. It is not an error and it is not unusual for a build to order run, because none of the tooling moves until Hasbro knows the number it is building to. If you order tonight expecting these under a tree this year, that is the misunderstanding to clear up now.

There is one release valve. The listing reads “Orders cancellable by 9/8/26,” so anything placed tonight can still be backed out of for a fortnight. After September 8 it is committed.

Anywhere else?

Not at the moment. A BigBadToyStore search this morning returned a single Seeker result and it is filed under War for Cybertron: Siege, which is a different and considerably older set. The Studio Series G1 pack is a Pulse item and Pulse is the only place it exists, which is the same shape as the run of exclusives Hasbro has been steering through that store all year. The Throne of the Primes Optimal Optimus reissue went wide to the fan channel instead, and it is the exception rather than the rule right now.

Everything above was read off Hasbro’s own product page this morning rather than a summary of it. If the countdown is still moving when you get there, the window is still open. If it has gone, it has gone, and a made to order run is not restocked.
