Blind boxes are sold on odds the buyer usually has to guess at. Super7 prints them. Every box in the new Transformers ReAction Blind Box Wave 06 carries a chart on its side panel headed COLLECT THEM ALL, six portraits with a ratio under each.
Four of the six are named. Battle Damaged Optimus Prime and Battle Damaged Megatron are the commons at three in twelve each, metallic Hot Rod and metallic Galvatron sit at two in twelve, and the last two slots are black silhouettes reading MYSTERY FIGURE at one in twelve. Super7 listed the wave on its own store this morning: fifteen dollars for a single box, a hundred and eighty for a flat of twelve, both in stock rather than pre-order.
A hundred and eighty for twelve is fifteen a box, so Super7 charges the same either way, and a flat is the only way to buy the wave without gambling on it. The mystery slots are the two you cannot buy on purpose.
The counter display carries the same chart the boxes do, so the odds are readable from the far side of a shop aisle.
Or could not, for about a day. TFW2005 published in-hand photographs of all six figures this morning, credited to 2005 Boards member PoweredConvoy, who says he bought a case at a Target and that the young employee behind the counter was reluctant to hand it over. He names both chases: a Coronation Starscream moulded in clear purple sparkling plastic, and what TFW2005 calls a Sleep Mode Optimus Prime, in clear [1]. The two silhouettes printed on the box are consistent with him. One carries a seeker’s swept wings and a crown, the other has Prime’s smokestacks and head antennae, so the shapes were on the packaging before anybody opened anything.
He got there first because Target had stock. The chain lists the same product as Transformers Blind Box Action Figure Wave 5, at $14.99, under item number 95001821, and its listing copy is Super7’s own, down to the line about celebrating like it is 2005. Super7 numbers the wave 06. Target numbers it 5, so a search on the Super7 number returns nothing on target.com [2].
The boards are not uniformly delighted. One poster counts three years of repaints in the ReAction Transformers line, with no new tooling and no Seekers or Datsuns. We have not checked his count. Another, comparing the in-hand shots against Super7’s product art, asks where Hot Rod’s blasters went, since the listing image shows two of them beside the figure. But these are five-point figures on a Kenner-style card at fifteen dollars, priced and tooled to sit next to the 1985 shelf rather than to compete with a Studio Series release.
This site has covered the film’s fortieth all summer, from the 4K steelbook preorder on September 1 to the VHS boxed Deluxes photographed on Target pegs on September 5. Super7 announces something, Target puts it on pegs, and the boards have the photographs before the store page is a day old.

BigBadToyStore has both listings open, the single box at $14.99 and the case of twelve at $179.99, each with a live add to cart and an estimated arrival of September 2026. The Substandard package grade on those pages reads SOLD OUT; that grade describes the packaging rather than the figure, and the BBTS Mint listing beside it is the one taking orders. Super7’s own store has the wave in stock today at $15.00 and $180.00, and Target lists it at $14.99, with at least one store putting cases out already. Prices and availability are set by the retailers and can change.

[1] Coronation Starscream is the crowned, caped Starscream of the coronation on Charr, which runs until Galvatron arrives and interrupts it. Sleep Mode is not a name Super7 uses on the box, so treat it as the boards’ description of a clear Optimus Prime rather than a product title.
[2] Target has also listed the two VHS boxed Deluxes, Optimus Prime and Megatron, at $29.99 each. When this site covered them on September 5 they had been photographed on Target pegs and no listing had been found for them, so that has now changed.
